1) What this policy covers

This policy explains what information we collect when you use AutoXOR Chestionare, why we collect it, how we use it, and your choices. We designed the app to collect the minimum data needed to create your account and save your progress.

2) Data we collect

Account & profile

  • Email address (required) – used to create your account and sign in.

App data

  • Progress data (e.g., completed quizzes, scores, saved questions, settings) – stored to your account so you can continue on any device.
  • Crash logs and basic performance data – used only to fix bugs and improve stability.

We do NOT collect: contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, advertising identifiers, or payment data.

3) How we use your data

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Sync your quiz progress and settings
  • Send service emails (e.g., password reset)
  • Legal compliance and fraud prevention when required

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

4) Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Performance of a contract – to provide the app/service you requested (account, syncing).
  • Legitimate interests – to keep the service secure and reliable.
  • Consent – for optional diagnostics or marketing emails (we're not sending marketing by default). You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights”).

5) Data sharing & processors

We only share data with service providers that help us run the app, under data-processing agreements. Typical examples:

  • App distribution & analytics: Apple (App Store/App Analytics) / Google (Google Play)
  • Error reporting / crash logs: (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics) — use only if enabled

These providers may process data on servers located in the EU or other jurisdictions with appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs).

6) Data retention

  • Account & progress data: kept until you delete your account or we delete inactive accounts after a reasonable period.
  • Crash logs/diagnostics: kept only as long as needed to resolve issues, then aggregated or deleted.
  • Legal records: retained as required by law.

7) Your rights (EU/EEA)

You can request:

  • Access to your data
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion of your account/data
  • Restriction or objection to certain processing
  • Data portability

8) Children

AutoXOR Chestionare is intended for general audiences. Users under 16 should use it with a parent's or guardian's consent. If we learn a child's data was collected without consent, we will delete it.

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep the service safe (encryption in transit, access controls, minimal data collection).

10) International transfers

When we transfer data outside the EU/EEA, we use lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and require appropriate safeguards from our processors.

11) Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post changes here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be notified in-app or by email.
